5) Work, work, work work!

Mondays department head meeting, office meeting, intra-party working groups (AGs), inter-party working groups (AKs),work process meetings, etc. Tuesdays coalition talks, rapporteur discussions, leadership round, party Family working group, intra-party session, party open evening on current topics. Wednesday, committees, plenary question hour, current event hours, children’s commission presence requirement. Thursday: plenary day, lots of sitting and listening, first appointment bright and early at 7:45am. Friday plenary session, planning for the following week, discussions, and in between always the never ending mountains of work. Then after that party day, volunteering, and being a human…and then it’s Monday again, starting over from the beginning. Sounds stressful. And it is. Is it fun? Yes, especially when I can fill it with meaningful content – more on that later.
